Produced from the collection of bio-waste from food processing industries, supermarkets and restaurants, digestate is the result of a natural process of biological degradation in our digesters.

Naturally rich in fertilizing elements and trace elements of natural origin, the digestate improves the microbiological activity of the soil. Each year, the 220,000 m3 of digestate produced by ReFood represents a saving of 4,900 tons of petrochemical fertilizer.
